ICT stands for Information Communication Technology.Everyday usage of digital technology includes when you use a computer, tablet,or Mobile phone ,send email,browse the internet,make video call- these are all examples of basic ICT skills and technology to communicate.

As a student,ICT helps me in communicating with other people with the use of technology.Now that we can do anything with just one single click .ICT really hepls me in making my work easier.It also helps me in finding information faster .The examples of Information Communication and Technology or ICT includes products that store,process, transmit ,convert , duplicate,or receive electronic Information, electronic textbooks,instructional software, email,chat and distance learning programs.ICT education is the mode of education that use Information and Communication Technology to support, enhance,and optimize the delivery of Information.Worlwide research has shown that ICT can lead an improved student learning and better teaching methods.ICT is really important to me as a student because it permeates all aspects of life,providing newer, better and quicker ways for people to interact , network,seek help,gain access to information,and Learn.Besides its presence everywhere , information and Communication Technology  an immense economic significance.

I learn to use ICT effectively and appropriately to access,create and communicate information and ideas ,solve problems and work collaboratively in all learning areas at school and in my life beyond school.ICT capability involves learning to make the most of the digital technologies available to us .Adapting the new ways of doing things as technologies evolve and limiting the risk to us students and others in a digital environment.To participate in a knowledge based economy and to be empowered within a technologically sophisticated society now and in the future.I need the knowledge and skills and confidence to make ICT work for me at school ,at home and in our community.
